Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church is a Christ-Centered Community of Kingdom-Builders Church, raising champions through God's word. Thirty years ago, Shiloh began sponsoring Boy Scouts of America Troop 528, which is an inner-city scouting troop in Fort Worth, Texas. Troop 528 has been led by Scoutmaster Tony Lampkin for the entire 30 years.

Over the past 30 years, we have touched the lives of so many inner-city boys and their families. We have prepared them for life by competing in sports, building self-esteem, confidence in applying for jobs, improving grades in school, and providing essential skills for everyday life. We participated in weekend camping trips, summer camps, scouting activities, as well as community service activities. We have had the honor of awarding 12 young men with their Eagle Scouts, which is the highest accomplishment in scouting. Over half of our young men have not only gone to college, but graduated with a degree. Most importantly all of our scouts are good men making a positive difference in their families and communities. All of this success would not have been possible without the dedicated men of Shiloh, Tony Lampkin, Willie Ilies, Thomas Ray, Rev. Reginald Andrews, and a host of so many others.
