Meet The Pastor

Pastor Kraig Lowell Pullam is a native of Corpus Christi, Texas, born on August 14, 1978 to Rev. William and Mrs. Vietta Pullam. He is the third son of three children. He accepted Christ at the age of seven and accepted his calling in January of 1994, at the tender age of fifteen. After finishing high school, he continued his education and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies with a minor in English Literature from Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, Texas. In May of 2009, he received his Master of Divinity Degree in Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. As a 6th generation Pastor and Preacher, Pastor Pullam served in the capacity of Assistant to the Pastor alongside his father at St. John First Baptist Church (Corpus Christi, TX) for four years, Pastor of Christian Education alongside his Pastor, Rev. Harvey Clemons, Jr. at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (Houston, TX) for four years, as the Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church (Pearland, TX) and the Mt. Salem Baptist Church (Victoria, TX). On August 23, 2016 he was called to serve as the Senior Pastor of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, in Fort Worth, Texas.

His preaching and teaching gifts have taken him across the nation and around the world, including Queenstown, South Africa, Playa del Carmen, Mexico and Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa. His essays, articles and sermons have been featured in the following publications: The Evangelical Report and Publication, African-American News, Houston’s Forward Times, Our Texas Magazine, Sermoncentral.com, and various blog sites. Pastor Pullam hopes to become a most distinguished preacher, pastor, and leader within his generation and continually invest in the development of Bible-based ministries, family enrichment, church missions, youth leadership development and education, and the community for service in the 21st Century with the glory of God in mind.

Among his accomplishments: President of the Baptist Student Union at Dallas Baptist University, Spiritual Care Director for Diabetes Support Group of Harris County Hospital District, Officer for the Fellowship of Black Seminarians, Chaplain of Quentin Mease Rehabilitation Group and LBJ General Hospital, Member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Youth President/Director of the American Baptist Western District Association, Officer of the Pearland Rotary Club, a member of the NAACP, Secretary and Co-Chair of the Pleasant Hill Academy Board of Directors.

Above all, Kraig L. Pullam’s greatest God-given desire is to lead God’s people as a loving and caring shepherd and teacher. Kraig Pullam is an audacious advocate of faith, family, education, and community. He stands on the shoulders of saints who have instilled wisdom and rich advice throughout the course of his ministry, including: Rev. William L. Pullam (his biological/spiritual father), Dr. R.L. Sanders, the late Dr. E.K. Bailey, Pastor Earl Jackson, Dr. I.V. Hilliard, the late Dr. E. Thurman Walker, the late Dr. C.B.T. Smith, Rev. Harvey Clemons, Jr. and so many others.

Since August 12, 2000, Pastor Kraig L. Pullam has been happily married to the former D’Ani Teres Thomas, a Dental Hygienist and native Houstonian. They are the proud parents of three beautiful sons, Kai Livingston, Kaden Lexander, and Karter Lowelle. He and his family make their home in the Fort Worth area.
