The purpose of the Usher Ministry is to help members and guests find a place to sit, distribute bulletins, programs, contribution envelopes and visitor cards, collect the offering, answer questions, ensure room temperature is comfortable, bring a sense of order and security.

Our mission is to take pride in our ministry and ensure members and guests are seated promptly and that materials are distributed as needed and that a sense of order and security is instilled.
Goal
Our goal is to take pride in our ministry and ensure everyone has a place to seat immediately and be prepared to welcome everyone with a spirit of kindness and love.
Who do we serve?
We serve the Pastor, members and guests.
Where do we meet?
We meet monthly as a team and we attend quarterly area Ushers meetings for service excellence. Meeting dates and times will be announced or scheduled within the team.
What are our special needs or services?
We use universal communication Usher language, attend quarterly Usher meetings and wear uniforms for each Sunday.
What skills or characteristics do we seek in our team?
A commitment to serving Christ. Friendly, people-oriented person who has a spirit of excellence and can stand for an extended period of time.
Is there a uniform or colors to be worn?
Yes. Ushers wear a different color and uniform each Sunday.
