Praise Dance
Worship Ministry
The purpose of the Praise Dance Ministry is to nurture and utilize the gifts God has given us so Christ can be glorified through us. To connect those with a desire to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. There are three areas of dance:
- Spirit of David Praise Dance - College age and older
- Graceful Praise Dance - Grades 5th thru 12th
- In-Motion for Christ Praise Dance for Drama
Mission Statement
Our mission is to use various styles of dance movement to touch the lives of our members for the purpose of bringing glory and praise to God.
Goal
Our goal is to use spiritual discernment in all that we do and ask God for enlightenment in what to present to the congregation.
Who do we serve?
We serve the congregation.
Where do we meet?
We meet as needed at the church in the sanctuary. Meeting date and time will be announced during Morning Worship Service.
What are our special needs or services?
We use the technical assistance of the Multimedia Ministry, costumes and props.
What skills or characteristics do we seek in our team member?
A commitment to serving Christ. A desire for acting and dancing.
Is there a uniform or colors to be worn?
Costumes will be provided for performers.
