Worship Ministry
The purpose of the Prayer Ministry is to connect our members, individually and collectively to God, our Father. Having a prayer life guides you through every situation in this life. To lead the ministry in opportunities to pray and grow deeper in an intimate relationship with God, to be available to pray for those that have a prayer need that have submitted a Prayer Request, to uplift and encourage those that are burden by life challenges and to give glory, honor and praise to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that died on the cross for our salvation.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to actively pray for our Pastor, our members, our leaders, our state, our country and our world and to give glory and honor to Jesus Christ and to pray for discernment to know the needs to pray for them.
Here is a list of regular prayer-focused opportunities:
- Weekly Prayer Call every Wednesday at 6:00 AM
- Prayers listed on our website daily
- 40 Days of Prayer beginning March 3rd thru April 11th
Goal
Our goal is to actively pray daily and to lead our congregation in prayer opportunities throughout the year to grow our faith as disciples of His word to comfort us when we are burdened.
Who do we serve?
We serve the Pastor and the congregation.
Where do we meet?
We meet weekly.
What are our special needs or services?
We use the conference room at the church, we use our Bibles and other resources to determine opportunities and specific areas in need of prayer.
What skills or characteristics do we seek in our team?
A commitment to serving Christ.
Is there a uniform or colors to be worn?
No.
