The purpose of Boy / Cub Scouts is to provide young men the opportunity to achieve life skills at their own pace and fellowship in a safe, positive, family environment and to develop a team attitude while learning outdoor and life skills.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to encourage positive citizenship by living the Scout Oath and Law.  To teach the 12 principles of a Boy Scout - to be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent.  To teach young men leadership skills in communication, planning, knowing and using resources and evaluating to name a few.

Goal

Our goal is to give young men the opportunity to participate in the greatest program for young men on earth.  To recognize achievement and individual goals completed and to promote growth into manhood.

Who do we serve?

We serve all boys from age 6 to 10 years old for Cub Scouts and boys from 11 to 18 years old for Boy Scouts.

When do we meet?

We meet every Monday from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm in classroom 11.

What are our special needs or services?

We  help other people at all times.

What skills or characteristics do we seek in our membership?

Self-control, ability to support the needs of others and good communication skills to communicate with adults and young men.

Is there a uniform or color to be worn?

Yes.  Boys wear green shirts and Khaki pants, a Class "A" Boy Scout uniform.
