Announcements
The purpose of the Announcement Team is to make verbal announcements each Sunday during service. Announcements are of upcoming church events and/or of important information that the congregation needs to know. In addition, guests are acknowledged during this period as well as the sick and shut in. Each member is assigned a Sunday to make the morning announcements for the year.
Mission Statement
The announcement team will inform the membership of church events, special announcements and make guests feel welcome.
Goal
Our goal is to keep membership apprised of upcoming events. And, to make our guests feel welcome so that they want to return or even join our church family.
Who do we serve?
We serve the Pastor, leaders and the congregation.
What are our special needs or services?
All announcements for insertion or morning mention are due every Wednesday by 4:00 PM to the church Secretary. Since our office is closed on Fridays, it is important to get your message submitted by the deadline to ensure it is included.
What skills or characteristics do we seek in our team member?
Volunteers must be committed to serving Christ. And, possess good communication skills and have a friendly personality.
Is there a uniform or color to be worn?
Professional church attire.
